Timber architecture

this is a residential building in Vienna, it has a contemporary loft-like structure with natural lighting coming through the glass of the atrium. this reduces the need for artificial interior lighting and can improve thermal efficiency to reduce energy costs. And the communal and retail spaces are at the ground floor and at the same time has some sort of privacy.

For The walls construction they’re timber frame construction with gypsum based boards on both sides of the wall and insulation of mineral wool. for the ground floor walls they are Timber panels curtain walls. And for the floors its mainly timber wood joists and flooring grade plywood.
