Project Type: Socio-Cultural Center & Public Facility
Location: Cairo Street, Abdoun, Amman, Jordan
Site Area: 13,300 sqm
Program: Art, education, culture, sports, leisure, and dining.
The Vision: To create an energizing, central destination that fosters social integration, specifically tailored to young adults seeking a comprehensive space for recreation and connection.
Architectural Concept: The design is driven by a rigid structural grid that serves as the unifying backbone of the site. To break this rigidity and encourage a dynamic pedestrian flow, the primary building masses are angled and shifted. This strategy naturally carves out solid and void spaces, resulting in a network of green, semi-open courtyards and shaded pavilions that promote social interaction.
